Monday pep talk

CD - Beyond Page Icon - Read

As many as 70% of people experience some variation of what's known as 'Imposter Phenomenon' some of the time. For some people it's an occasional feeling of being out of one's depth and for others it's chronic fear of being found out and that it's only a matter of time before the jig is up and they lose everything.

Imposter syndrome is the inability to internalise a sense of success or achievement because of core beliefs of not being good enough (or competent enough). Even if you don't think it affects you, you might recognise yourself in some of the thoughts and behaviours that characterise this experience.
