You've just taken a fantastic step towards living a happier life.

I've got you for the next seven days and I'm pretty excited to be sharing this adventure with you!

As a clinical psychologist, I see lots of people suffering with depression, stress, anxiety and worse. The truth is we've all experienced psychological struggles, and for every person who finds themselves in a therapist's office, there are plenty more (maybe like you) who soldier on alone or who perhaps aren't depressed necessarily,
 but who certainly aren't the happiest they could be.

I WANT MORE FOR YOU THAN TO JUST GET BY. I WANT YOU TO BE THE HAPPIEST POSSIBLE VERSION OF YOU.

You DO have the power to increase your own happiness, regardless of your temperament or your life circumstances and there are lots of reasons why working to boost your happiness is a very worthy goal.

Did you know that happy people...
  • experience better health and even live longer;
  • are more likely to get the job they want or get promoted;
  • are more generous with their time, energy and money;
  • have more friends and happier marriages..?

Before the challenge kicks off tomorrow here's a tip or two to help you make the most out of our time together.

Grab a journal so you can jot down any insights you notice over the coming week and to do a couple of exercises I'll ask you to do.

Commit to spending some time DAILY to cultivate more happiness. I know how busy you are, and that's probably one of the reasons you're feeling so crappy but remember that nothing changes if nothing changes.

Will you get up a bit earlier? Will you cut your Facebook time or switch off the TV? It's important for you to plan ahead for how you will fit this in so that you get the most out of it.
